THE BASICS

Branding, community building, and intersectional culture curating are her specialty. Solonje is a 2x cannabis entrepreneur (Humble Bloom and now Erven), Resistance Revival Chorus member and Weed Auntie.

She sits on the board of Broccoli Magazine’s Floret Coalition, an anti-racist cannabis collective giving monthly donations to orgs prioritizing the communities most affected by the war on drugs. As well as the inaugural Advisory Board of CUNY’s new workforce development program, From Cannabis to Culinary. Solonje is a member of the 2023 Clio Cannabis Marketing & Advertising Jury.

I use my platform with purpose to amplify and uplift brands with integrity while educating community. Collaborating through partnerships with brands and organizations via speaking engagements, content creation, strategy, social media campaigns, equity accountability consulting and special projects.

Recent partnerships include Royal Queen Seeds, Gotham, Lululemon, Hello Again, Pro-Mix, Afropunk, TEDx, Soho House, oHHo, Foria, KiT Undergarments, Space BTWN, “All in: The Fight for American Democracy” documentary, Rentrayage, Scout Lab, Seedsman and more.

The premise of Weed Auntie is to curate moments of plant infused mindful connection + play centric education. Humans have a basic need for connection and belonging. Solonje works with clients to create their brand heart, essence, messaging, and identity so the interconnective elements shine through.

Leveraging existing relationships with influencers, thought-leaders, media, wellbeing facilitators, creatives, artists, musicians, and culture innovators to create lasting partnerships, increase brand awareness and expand community commitment.

CONTENT CURATION

Designing experiences to bring a rich cross-section of people together to learn in a consciously curated container. I collaborate with clients to create impactful conversation with an inclusive mindset fostering connection across a full spectrum of individuals with the goal of collective advancement.
