Hey ya’ll. I’m Solonje, a people advocate, breathwork guide, bridge builder, space holder and creator. I am awake, aware, and activated in Brooklyn.

As a Grenadian + Caribbean-American gemini who loves and thrives off our universal interconnectedness, I center self care as the catalysis for community care. I keep my sanity through dance breaks, meditation, breathwork as well as being open to constant learning and unlearning as a practice for my continued expansion. I use my passion for people to support small businesses through intentional brand partnerships, educate on social injustices from the sustainability to the movement for Black lives, women’s health, plant based pleasure and housing rights, while pushing an agenda of transparency and integrity.

I’ve managed artists, booked private venues and social clubs, executive produced conferences, modeled in fashion shows, done brand strategy at innovative startups, designed and implemented anti-racism plans, as well as forged thoughtful partnerships for agencies.

And the culture curation continues. Currently, I speak and consult on social equity, self care, conscious consumption, activism, intersectional feminism, sexual health, racial injustice, gender discrimination, wellbeing, sustainability, community empowerment and the list goes on.

I sit on the board of the Floret Coalition, an anti-racist cannabis collective giving monthly donations to orgs prioritizing the communities most affected by the war on drugs. I’m an advisor and member of the Virtue Project’s Business Equity Council as well as an Advisory Board member at CRUDE.

I curate intersectional healing and wellness experiences at Soho House called Reflection and hosted the weekly show Radical Self Care: Cannabis, Wellness & Activism on Afropunk. One of my greatest joys is singing and performing with the Resistance Revival Chorus – born out of the Women’s March.

I was educated in Massachusetts (shout out to my hometown of Newton) receiving my undergrad degree in Psychology and Africana Studies from Wellesley College and my MA from Emerson College in Broadcast Journalism.
